SCHEDULE:
1.30pm - Pick Up at Adelaide Hilton (note it will take approx. 45 mins from city to site)
2.15pm - Arrive at Adelaide Desalination Project – visitor centre (Gate 2)
2.15 – 2.30pm Site safety video
2.30pm - Group 1 – Restricted site tour
Group 2 - Presentation (afternoon tea)
2.45pm - Group 2 – Restricted site tour
Group 1 – Presentation (afternoon tea)
4.00pm - Depart site
4.45pm - Arrive at Adelaide Airport
5.30 - Arrive at Adelaide Hilton
This tour is strictly limited to 18 people, if you are unable to make the tour please contact the conference secretariat immediately as there is a waiting list.
Long sleeves, long pants and safety boots must be worn on site. If you do not want to travel with your safety boots please let the conference secretariat know your shoe size and the desalination plant will organise a pair of boots for you. All other PPE gear will be supplied on site.
Plant Visit to ANFF-SA’s Microfluidics and Nanofabrication Facility

Venue:Ian Wark Research Institute at the University of South Australia, Mawson Lakes campus
ANFF-SA is part of the national collaborative arrangement for fabrication. As such it provides extensive equipment and expertise to the Australian industrial and academic communities, for the manufacture of next-generation microfluidic chips, and micro and nanoscale components or devices. These are geometrically and chemically tailored for their specific applications which can include biomedical, chemical or security, to name a few. ANFF-SA offers both standard and tailored solutions, access to its fabrication laboratories, and expertise in design and optimisation of devices in a one-stop facility. You will have the opportunity to see the clean rooms and equipment, and to see some of the microfluidic devices in action.
